It is your responsibility to call for inspections once your construction project starts. Neglecting these inspections may cause costly delays and time consuming work stoppages.
The name and telephone number of the Inspector or District Inspections office is included with your permit documents.
A Building Inspector can assist you in determining which inspections are required for your particular project.
Several inspections are required during construction to ensure that all work is done according to the approved plans.

You need to call 2 working days before your required inspection, the appropriate numbers below according to ward location.
The best time to speak with an inspector is to call between the hours
of 8:30 am – 9:30 am Monday – Friday.
During the other business hours the inspector is on the road on site inspections.

Please remember that your stamped permit plans must be on site for each inspection.
Night or Weekend inspections is available for projects with special needs a 4 hour min.
